To be truthful, most customers come into web design with a thought that it is easy and they can get started quickly. Well, unfortunately that isn't the case. Website building takes time and knowledge to do. And regardless of what software you use, you need to learn about, website terminology and the basics of how a website functions. This article isn't going to be a tutorial on how to build a website. There is tons of information on the web to accomplish that. There isn't any reason for me to repeat it all here. Plus, I don't have the time to write hundreds of pages on HTML, CSS and PHP. What I want to do is give you the basics to get to my RVSiteBuilder and suggestions on software that you can use. Beyond that, you will need to search the web for more information.
To access RVSiteBuilder.
- You login to your Cpanel.
- Look toward the bottom of the page for a box called "Site Software"
- Click on the link to RVSiteBuilder and that is it.
Other software I suggest, if you want to be more adventurous.
- KompoZer - This is one of the best site editors on the web. It doesn't contain any templates, but for those who have what they need to get started and have a touch of experience in site building, this is the software you need. Oh, and it is free.
- Xara Web Designer - This is one of the best template based web design software I have ever come across. If you are wanting to design a gallery for your products, this is the software for you. There is a 30 day trial and the best thing is it is only $49.00 usd. You can't beat that. Note: This isn't a web based designer, this is for your computer. You can't go wrong. It contains hundreds of templates, editable buttons, text blocks and everything you need to create yourself a top notch site with ease.
